Adweek Selects Leo Burnett Duo as ‘Agency Talent to Watch’ for the 2022 Adweek Creative 100
Creative Directors Jason LaFlore and Matt Turnier are celebrated as top creatives in marketing, media and culture.
Adweek celebrates talented professionals around the world – saluting 100 dynamic creatives driving culture and innovation in advertising, marketing, and media and showcasing unparalleled talent from every aspect of the creative process.
For its 8th Annual Creative 100 list, Adweek recognized Leo Burnett Chicago Creative Directors Jason LaFlore and Matt Turnier, as a couple of top “Agency Talent to Watch” in the world.
The pair have worked together for nearly six years, collaborating on high visibility campaigns such as Cadillac’s Edgar ScissorhandsFree and Michelob Ultra’s Super Bowl. They also helped deliver an unapologetic message to the masses by way of the viral, award-winning campaign, “The Lost Class” with anti-gun violence non-profit Change the Ref.
As LaFlore and Turnier continue to develop successful careers, Turnier offers advice for emerging talent, “Work for people, not agencies. It’s about finding the people who share a similar taste or are willing to trust yours, the people who will champion you and your career, and, most importantly, the people who will make going to work every day something you look forward to.”
