Elite runners get all the attention at the Boston Marathon. But Bank of America thought it was time to shine the spotlight on the everyday marathoners who run the race for a cause. “The Human Sponsorship” told the stories of 30 individual athletes and why they were running the marathon for charity. We used the iconic Boston Marathon bib to write each individual reason, and our campaign blanketed the Greater Boston area on the city’s biggest day of the year. Plus, we built a charity fundraising platform that made it easy for people to donate to 168 different charities.
